Pereira will decide his future after talks with Mourinho

Andreas Pereira wants to hold talks with Jose Mourinho and wants assurance from him over his position at Manchester United before deciding his future, according to ESPN.

Pereira joined Valencia on a season long loan from United last summer as he wanted to get more game times as Mourinho couldn’t guarantee him of that. The Portuguese was unhappy with his decision as he wanted him to stay. But before leaving the Brazilian signed a new contract with United.

He has made 24 appearances for Valencia this season helping them to reach  4th position in the league. The 22 year will definitely want to help his team to reach Champions League qualifications  for next season and end the season on a strong note.

He is set to return at Old Trafford this summer and is keen to establish himself as regular squad member. His long term ambition is to break through at United but he also wants to play regular football to continue his development. United officials and Mourinho’s coaching staff have been impressed with his contribution at Valencia.

With Michael Carrick set to retire at the end of season and Marouane Fellani likely to leave, United will be short on midfield and could do well with the addition of Pereira. But it all depends on whether Mourinho brings a new midfielder this summer or not.

Pereira is aware of this and wants to talk with Mourinho before deciding whether to stay with United or go on a loan again, according to reports.
