Manchester City and Chelsea were already interested
Yet another Premier League club have registered their interest in signing Southampton’s Virgil Van Dijk this summer.
The centre-back has already been linked with moves to Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea this summer.
But now, according to the Liverpool Echo, Liverpool’s local rivals, Everton, are also thought to be keeping an eye on his situation at St Mary’s.
The defender has a history of playing with Everton boss Ronald Koeman, and the former Southampton manager wants a reunion at Goodison Park.
Van Dijk is out for the season injured but impressed magnificently during the periods of the season he’s been involved in.
However, Southampton’s £50million valuation will create an issue for Everton.
Koeman is looking to bolster Everton’s backline this summer and as well as van Dijk being on his radar the Blues boss has Michael Keane and Harry Maguire on a list of potential transfer targets.
