Antonio Conte has revealed that Chelsea legend Carlo Cudicini is helping him
The former Blue has been helping the Italian settle into life at Stamford Bridge
Conte explained the benefits of having Cudicini work alongside him at Chelsea: “he knows the club well and for sure he is a person very important at this moment.”
Not many know Chelsea like Cudicini
The former shot-stopper was with the club between 1999 and 2009. During which he was involved in two Premier League successes as well as in six other domestic competitions.
He was also named Chelsea’s player of the year in 2002, ‘keeper Peter Bonetti was the very first player to win the award.
Eight pieces of silverware in ten years is quite an accomplishment, Conte will no doubt be hoping that Cudicini can help bring that sort of success to the club during his spell as a coach.
If the Blues continue to perform as the are, there could be more trophies to come for the Italian duo.
