The Blues boss reveals that N’Golo Kante is set to return to action for Chelsea in around 20-25 days
His absence will come as a big blow to the west London side, who have now lost their last two Premier League games.
And speaking at his pre-match news conference on Friday, Conte revealed exactly how long he is expecting Kante to be out for.
Conte said: “[Going by] the previous scan [he will be out for] maybe… around 20 days… 25 days.”
Chelsea will be without Kante when the Blues return to Champions League action on Wednesday night with a crunch clash against Roma at Stamford Bridge.
Kante is set to miss two Champions League ties with Roma — and the Premier League game against Manchester United on November 5 is a doubt. Only Cesc Fabregas and Tiemoue Bakayoko are available as fit options for the two deep midfield slots.
