Italian planning for life at Chelsea and wants five new additions

Antonio Conte is already planning for life at Chelsea Football Club as he issues officials at Stamford Bridge a five-man transfer wishlist.

Conte, who is currently head-coach of Italy‘s national team, is set to be announced as the new Chelsea manager by the end of March, and will formally take over at the club in mid-July, following the European Championships.

The Italian is eager to guide his country through the Euros and will then step down before moving to England and taking over the reigns at Stamford Bridge.

Despite not even officially being announced yet, it’s heavily reported that Conte is the man for the job, and according to some reports, he’s even handed Roman Abramovich a five-man transfer wishlist.

Five Stars Wanted

On that list is believed to be; Edinson Cavani, Leonardo Bonucci, Paul Pogba, Miralem Pjanic and Radja Nainggolan.

It’s clear that Conte is ready to raid Serie A after spending several years around the league and watching the players play due to scouting for the national set-up.

Conte is a huge admirer of Juventus duo Bonucci and Pogba, whilst he’s also keen on bringing AS Roma pair Pjanic and Nainggolan to Stamford Bridge.

A new striker is also on his radar and he’s turned his attentions to Paris Saint-Germain hit-man Cavani, who is reportedly still unsettled in France.

It’s believed Abramovich will hand Conte around ÂŁ150million to spend over the summer, and with some current Blues players expected to leave, the new manager could have over ÂŁ200m to spend on new faces.
