Antonio Conte has made it clear that he refuses to be drawn into mind games with Jose Mourinho
Jose suggested that Chelsea are overly defensive, Conte was questioned about the comments after Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Burnley on Sunday, Conte admitted he was unhappy with the Portuguese’s ‘jokey’ comments.
Mourinho, who has won three PL titles with Chelsea across two separate spells, delivered what was a back-handed compliment to his former club by declaring that they will not be caught at the summit.
“I don’t like to reply to the other coaches,” he told reporters. “I don’t like this joking. He’s playing. I have the experience to understand this.”
