The Blues demolished Everton on Saturday in what was a 5 goal studded event, However Antonio Conte feels the team still need to improve.

Chelsea dominated The Toffees from the get go, the first goal coming from Eden hazard who wanted to wake the Everton keeper up, job done, no coffee needed, then what seemed only seconds later Marcus Alonso popped up with a ‘Remember me?’ goal adding to the account making it 2-0.

Diego Costa then thought he’d get in on the action and make it 3-0 just to rub it in that Everton were playing rubbish, this was all before half-time.

After the break Eden Hazard wanted a second goal so he grabbed one in the 56th minute making it 4-0 while the Everton defence went for nap.

Pedro got excited and wanted to get on the sc”My players have adapted very quickly to this system but the principles are the same. We changed something defensively and offensively. I’m very happy because when the players produce this type of performance it’s important for my work. I’m sure we can improve and we need to.”ore sheet so he banged one in on the 65th minute just to let the Toffees know they are done for the day and can clock off.

As impressive as the Blues were, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte still want’s to make sure the squad improves and stays focused:

“My players have adapted very quickly to this system but the principles are the same. We changed something defensively and offensively. I’m very happy because when the players produce this type of performance it’s important for my work. I’m sure we can improve and we need to.”

“You have to show that you can win with the idea of playing good football. It’s important to put these players in the best situation to exploit their talent.”

“I’m very pleased because today there was a fantastic atmosphere with our supporters. We must continue to work together with the players, the club, the supporters and then to improve step by step. We can improve. We can improve.”

“I have to be honest, I didn’t recognise that our supporters were singing my name. But Paolo Bertelli told me: ‘They are singing for you!’ It’s good. It’s important for me but for the players and for Chelsea because we need their support.”
