Arsenal agree deal for La Liga midfielder
According to a report in Spanish publication El Gol, Arsenal have agreed a deal with Sevilla midfielder for £35.3 million.
N’Zonsi is said to have had a strained relationship with Sevilla manager Eduardo Berizzo during his side’s 3-3 draw against Liverpool in the Champions League clash in November. That was the last game he had played for the side, having been substituted at half-time.
‘The coach pointed the finger at me [at half-time of the Liverpool game]. I will not repeat it… but his words affected me’.
‘The fact I was always professional despite the circumstances, that I always did my job, I found it unfair. My future is clearly away from Seville. The only thing that disappoints me is the way it has ended’, N’Zonsi had told France Football then.
The 28-year-old has a buy-out clause of £35.2 million, and the deal could be sealed in January.
