In what I like to call a ‘Slap to the face’Â Arsenal have reportedly agreed personal terms with Chelsea target Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, this is according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli. (I know I had to Google him as well).
Arsene Wenger recently failed (how many times have we heard that said right?) – Banter, in his attempt to sign Jamie Vardy from Leicester after the England international recently agreed a new four-year deal with the champions, and now it seems the Arsenal boss will now turn his attention to former Chelsea man Lukaku as he looks to strengthen his squad for the upcoming season.
The London club are now set to table an offer to Everton for Lukaku, according to the bloke mentioned above.
Although The Blues are also believed to be interested in re-signing the Belgium international, no offer has been made.
As rumours continue to circulate that Diego Costa is looking to move back to Atletico Madrid Lukaku would make a perfect replacement.
