Arsenal are hoping to be able to secure the signature of highly rated youngster Martin Odegaard.
Odegaard, 15 has been visiting various top European clubs in a bid to choose a club that will help him with his football development.
The attacking midfielder currently plays for Stromsgodset IF and is a highly thought of player with a bright future ahead of him spent the beginning of December with Liverpool which is the team he supports before he went over to Germany to train with Bayern. It was then reported that he spent the day before his 16th birthday training at the Emirates.
The starlet who became the youngest player to play in a European Championship will be able to sign a professional contract on Wednesday which is the day of his 16th birthday with Arsenal and Bayern front runners.
Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said: ‘He is an absolutely exceptional talent and a good guy, very good for his age. We try very hard to sign him, and I think we have a good chance.
