Premier League duo eyeing up £14m deal
Arsenal and Chelsea are back in the race for Anderlecht star Youri Tielemans and are prepared to bid £14.4million for the midfielder.
The 18-year-old signed a new five-year deal with the Belgian giants last month but that has not fended off two major Premier League sides.
However, Arsenal and Chelsea don’t just have to beat each other for the 18-year-old, they would have to beat Spanish giants Atletico Madrid for the star.
The midfielder has already made 86 appearances for Anderlecht after breaking into their first-team as a 16-year-old.
Asking-Price
Anderlecht have slapped a £14.4million price-tag on the starlet and have confirmed that he won’t be going anywhere until the valuation is met.
Tielemans became the youngest Belgian player to play in the Champions League at the age of 16 but is yet to earn his first international cap for Belgium, but is a regular in the country’s Under-21 side.
Chelsea Favourites
The 5’9 wonder-kid scored six goals for his beloved club last season and reports suggest he would rather join Chelsea than Arsenal because he would join fellow Belgians Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge.
