Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool have joined the race to sign in-form Lyon frontman Alexandre Lacazette.

The French international has been recently attracting the attentions of; Everton, Newcastle United and even Juventus, but they will now face more competition as Brendan Rodgers and Arsene Wenger are now monitoring the situation.

The 22-year-old has scored 17 goals in France this season which has caught the eye of many potential buyers, especially Everton, who reportedly made an official enquiry earlier on in the season as they search for a Romelu Lukaku replacement once his loan deal expires.

Lacazette is expected to stay on at Lyon for at least another season, but due to the financial power of European clubs, a big-money offer may force the French side to sell their star.

It’s reported that Arsenal and Liverpool are willing to offer up to and around ÂŁ10million for the Frenchman.
