Marseille midfielder Mathieu Valbuena has revealed his intentions to leave the French club in the Summer, with Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool interested, but he insists that no decision will be made until after the Brazilian World Cup.

Valbuena has been a long-term target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and despite never making an official bid, it finally looks like the Frenchman could be joining the English Premier League, but whether it will be with Arsenal is another story.

It was reported earlier in the week that the 29-year-old had been given permission to leave the club, and now in a recent interview, Valbuena has confirmed that after the World Cup, he will be looking for a move away from Ligue 1.

He told Le 10 Sport: “I can only say that this is my final season here, but I do not want to talk about my future. Now I want make the best [season] possible with Marseille and my dream is to play in the World Cup in Brazil. Afterwards we will see.”
