According to Diego, a midfielder for German side Wolfsburg, he is wanted by Premier League duo Arsenal and Southampton and he has admitted that a move to either side would interest him.
The Brazilian is coming to the end of his contract in Germany and would be a free agent next Summer, which could interest both Arsene Wenger and Mauricio Pochettino as the 28-year-old is keen on a move to England.
It is thought that several teams around Europe will be interested in the former-Juventus man, but it is the Premier League that interests him the most.
He told The Sun: “I know there is interest from Premier League clubs. I have heard Arsenal is one of them.
“It would be the ideal destination for me because their style suits my characteristics perfectly. Of course I would say yes to Arsenal.
“Southampton have great organisation and discipline and big talents like Adam Lallana. But again there is nothing concrete.
“Playing in England is a very attractive option at the peak of my career but I’m focusing on helping Wolfsburg get to the Champions League.”
