Mario Gotze and Julian Draxler attracting big interest

Two of Germany’s younger starts could be heading to the Premier League this summer, with both Mario Gotze and Julian Draxler linked with a move to England.

Manchester United and Arsenal are vying with each other to bid for the pair, who combined could cost a staggering ÂŁ86 million.

Gotze, who scored the winning goal for Germany in the 2014 World Cup final, has so far struggled to hold down a guaranteed first-team spot at Bayern Munich since his highly anticipated move from rivals Borussia Dortmund in 2013.

And Draxler has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, with Arsenal rumoured to have come close to getting him last summer only to opt for compatriot Mesut Ozil instead.

Arsenal and United Ready to Spend

With Arsene Wenger and Louis Van Gaal eager to compete with Manchester City and Chelsea for the league title this season, both clubs are prepared to splash the cash in order to bridge the gap between themselves and the top two.

A move for either, or even both, would send a statement to the other top teams in the league, and with just over 3 weeks until the window closes, they’ll have to move fast to secure such a deal.
