According to the Daily Star Arsenal want to sign goalkeeper Tim Krul and are set to make an offer of £6 million.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar but it seems as though he is off to Napoli.
Krul is valued at about £10 million but Wenger will try to get him cheaper.
Wenger is looking for a world class number one and is reportedly ready to sign the Dutch international who season after season stands for a number of impressive performances.
