Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing Gonzalo Higuain, according to The Metro.
The Gunners are keen to land the Argentine international, with Arsenal set to open negotiations within regards to a £31 million deal in the coming weeks.
Higuain, aged 26, is currently at Italian Serie A side Napoli, with the Naples club reportedly ready to sell due to current financial difficulties, according to Italian media.
Arsene Wenger was keen on the player in the summer, however opted for both Alexis Sanchez and Daany Welbeck to bolster his forward line.
Higuain signed for Napoli in a £24 million deal from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013, and has scored 20 goals in 40 appearances for the Stadio San Paulo club.
