Real Madrid willing to sell
Arsenal have been shown the green light to sign Karim Benzema with Real Madrid wanting to sell the striker in the summer transfer window.
The France international has scored an impressive 22 goals in 45 games this campaign but according to reports across Europe, including the Star, the Spanish giants are adamant on re-signing Juventus striker Alvaro Morata.
Madrid are intent on activating his £21.6m buy-back clause and they will use the money they receive from the sale of Benzema to fund the Morata deal.
French Strikeforce
Gunners’ gaffer Arsene Wenger is a massive fan of his countryman and it is rumoured that Wenger wants a French partnership of Olivier Giroud and Benzema up front together at the Emirates.
However, Arsenal face tough competition from Premier League rival Manchester United for the £25m rated star, who has hinted at moving to a top four Premier League side in the past.
