Chelsea will let the keeper leave once they find a replacement
Chelsea will let Arsenal have Petr Cech – but only when they have signed a replacement for him.
Cech is desperate to leave Stamford Bridge in search of first-team football and it has been revealed today that the Blues are willing to sell him on but only when they have secured a replacement for him.
Begovic and Green are targets
Jose Mourinho currently has Asmir Begovic from Stoke on his radar but with Tottenham also interested, they could instead turn to QPR’s Robert Green.
Begovic is valued at around £10.5m, which is around the same amount that Chelsea are hoping to sell Cech for.
Green, who isn’t the preferred option of the two, would cost a lot less.
If Chelsea manage to pull off the signing of one of the two keepers, then Cech will finally be allowed to leave the Blues after eleven years with the club.
