Arsenal have been dealt a huge injury blow with the news that in-form midfielder Aaron Ramsey will miss the rest of the Christmas period after picking up a thigh injury in today’s victory over West Ham United.
The Welshman went down holding his thigh early in the second-half and eventually had to be replaced by game-changer Lukas Podolski.
At the time of the substitute, Arsenal were 1-0 down at Upton Park after Carlton Cole gave the hosts a shock lead, however, a brace from Theo Walcott turned the game on it’s head as The Gunners went back to the top of the table.
The game was sealed when Podolski fired home the third.
After the game, Wenger spoke about the Ramsey injury, and this is what he had to say:
“I don’t know how bad it is but, for sure, the Christmas period he will be out.”
