Arsenal have received positive news regarding duo Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil after the club have confirmed that both the players will be fit for their Champions League tie with Marseille on Wednesday night.
The Gunners get their Champions League campaign underway in France tomorrow night and they had initial fears that they would be very limited with attacking options after only recognised striker Giroud was substituted due to a knee injury he picked up against Sunderland on Saturday.
However, the Frenchman successfully completed training with the first-team today and is expected to start for Arsene Wenger tomorrow night in France.
As well as Giroud, Arsenal also had fears over new signing, Ozil, after he overcame an illness to play on Saturday, but any fears of the bug putting him out of his first European game for the Premier League side have also been dismissed.
