Arsenal are interested in signing Roma forward Mattia Destro and Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik, and could sell two players in order to fund the deals.

Destro has struggled to hold down a regular starting place for Roma this term, and has previously been linked with a ÂŁ15 million move to the Premier League in the Summer, with Jose Mourinho’s, Chelsea, looking at him.

Hamsik is another who has been previously tracked by Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City, but it could be Arsene Wenger who gives the Slovakian the opportunity to ply his trade in England.

Arsenal already have a vast array of forwards and attacking midfielders, meaning two of them would have to make way to accommodate the potential incomers.

Lukas Podolski and Joel Campbell could be the two to make way, with both struggling for starts this season due to the high level of competition in the Arsenal forward line.

Any money generated from the sale of these two would be used towards a combined fee of around ÂŁ35 million for the linked duo.
