Gunners want to land FC Lorient defender
Arsenal have made contact with FC Lorient regarding Raphael Guerreiro, according to reports.
The versatile star can play either at left-back or down the wing and has been catching the eyes of Arsenal scouts for the past few months now, and according to reports in France, a formal bid could be made in the summer.
Guerreiro has been with Lorient since 2013, making 98 appearances and scoring 10 goals in that time.
According to reports in France, Arsenal officials have been monitoring the full-back for some time and have now approached the Ligue 1 club regarding a possible transfer.
Koscielny To Help Get Deal Done
Arsene Wenger has a good working relationship with the French side after he landed Laurent Koscielny from them several years back. In fact, Arsenal could use Koscielny to convince the defender to complete a move to the Emirates Stadium.
Guerreiro has been linked with the Premier League before as Liverpool were reportedly showing interest in January.
