Arda Turan, Karim Benzema and Isco all targeted
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is eyeing a triple-raid on La Liga with two Real Madrid players on his radar and one FC Barcelona player.
The Frenchman is expected to have a busy summer at the end of the season after once again falling short in the Premier League title-race. Not only that, he won’t be lifting the FA Cup for a third time in a row and he won’t be getting his hands on the Champions League for the first time either.
Questions have been raised regarding Wenger, but it looks like his job is safe and he’s once again being backed by the board to continue developing Arsenal.
However, they have urged him to spend big this summer in order to be competitive once again next season, and Wenger has his sights set on a trio of players from Spain.
La Liga Trio
Wenger would like to add Arda Turan, Karim Benzema and Isco to his team ahead of next season.
Midfield-duo Turan and Isco are both struggling for game-time in Spain, with the former behind the likes of Lionel Messi and Neymar, whilst Isco cannot get ahead of James Rodriguez, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric or Mateo Kovacic.
As for Benzema, he is still a regular for Madrid, playing as a lone-striker in between Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, but after missing out on him last summer, Wenger will look to renew his interest.
It could be an expensive triple-deal for Arsenal, but it’s what they need to do ahead of next season.
