Gunners could beat Liverpool to star winger
Premier League side Arsenal are ready to pay £48million to sign versatile attacker Marco Reus from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.
Arsenal are the bookmaker’s favourites to sign the German star, with Real Madrid and Liverpool also chasing the forward’s signature.
The Gunners hijacked Liverpool’s talks to sign the attacking midfielder or winger last week, with manager Arsene Wenger admitting to being a keen admirer of the forward.

It is heavily speculated that the German international is leaving the Bundesliga giants in this summer’s transfer window, and German newspaper Sports Bild say Arsenal are more than willing to offer £48million to bring him to the Emirates before the new Premier League season starts.
The London club want to sign two more players this summer, but Wenger is adamant that the club will not sign anyone if they are not ‘exceptional’.
The 26-year-old is of a ‘world-class’ talent according to Wenger and while television and newspaper reports in Germany say no official offer has been placed on the table yet, Arsenal are desperate to get this deal completed before the start of the new campaign.
