According to talksport Roma are interested in Arsenal forward Gervinho who has had a hard time fitting in at the Emirates.
The new boss for Roma, Rudi Garcia, was Gervinho’s coach when he played for Lille and is now looking to reunite with the Ivorian and make him the player he couldn’t become at Arsenal.
It would take Rudi Garcia and Roma about £8 million to bring the 26-year-old to the Italian capital.
Gervinho has not had the most succesful spell in England and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could be interested in offloading him to the Italian side in order to raise funds for potential transfer targets. Reportedly there are names like Higuaín, Benteke and Suarez amongst others to fill the void left years ago when Thierry Henry was sold to Barcelona.
During Gervinho’s first two years at Arsenal he has scored 11 goals in his 63 games.
