Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny wants the side to get back to winning ways against Norwich City so that they can build-up yet another impressive winning streak.

The Gunners’ 10-game winning run came to an end on Sunday when they picked up a point at The Hawthorns against in-form West Bromwich Albion.

After going 1-0 down, Arsene Wenger’s men managed to get themselves back into the game thanks to a Jack Wilshere volley and the point was enough to put them back on top-spot in the Premier League going into the international break.

Despite not winning, Szczesny believes Sunday’s draw was a point earned rather than two dropped.

“I suppose when we come down a little bit we’ll be happy with that point,” Szczesny told Arsenal Player. “I was disappointed after the game because we felt confident, we had the momentum. It was a tough game so we’ll probably take it. But I’m still disappointed.”

However, the Polish international wants to return to winning ways against Norwich on the 19th.

“It’s time for us to start a new run,” he said. “Hopefully we can win the next game and the few more after that, and create the momentum again. We’re still top of the league so the momentum is still with us. We won’t lose our confidence.

“We said to ourselves before the game that we want to go into the break top of the league. Obviously we would have preferred to have done it with a win but we got a point which was enough to keep us on top.”
