Bafetimbi Gomis is a transfer target of Arsenal, according to the striker’s agent.
The powerhouse centre-forward is set for a long spell in the Swansea City first-team after they sold Wilfried Bony to Manchester City in a deal worth £28million, however, Gomis is now the man attracting interest with his agent confirming several clubs are interested.
Despite selling Bony already, Swansea are prepared to sell the Frenchman if the price is right, and with Newcastle, Borussia Dortmund, Crystal Palace, Schalke and now Arsenal all interested, a deal could take place.
When asked about his client, Francesco Di Frisco, confirmed that there is new interest from Arsene Wenger.
‘Schalke and Borussia Dortmund have asked about signing Bafe,’ he said.
‘So have Crystal Palace and Newcastle and now Arsenal.’
According to reports, Arsenal will launch a £6million bid for the 29-year-old.
