Arsenal are set to test Real Madrid’s resolve by bidding for starlet, Jese Rodriguez.
Despite the Spaniard being highly thought of in his homeland, 22-year-old Jese has made just three appearances for the La Liga outfit this season.
Jese, who is capped at international level by his country – has struggled to adapt to Rafael Benitez’s system, as the new manager has selected French international, Kazim Benzema ahead of him in the pecking order.
The players agent, Gines Carvajal, told Spanish daily publication, Marca: ‘He needs to play more, that’s the best way to keep his spirits up.
‘The club will have to make a decision. He’s training well, he’s strong and has to seize the opportunity when it comes.’
