Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has rekindled his interest in Lyon midfielder Yoann Gourcuff and is also keeping tabs on Juventus winger Sebastian Giovinco.
The Gunners are in need of strengthening their squad if they want to keep their title-push going, especially after injuries sustained to Theo Walcott, Nicklas Bendtner, Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud.
Reports in France are suggesting that Lyon and Arsenal are expected to hold talks about a potential deal for the midfield-man, who has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium for the last three seasons, including a loan-deal last Summer which fell through.
Gourcuff will cost Wenger around £4m-£8m, but his salary is quite hefty and that is why the Frenchman is keeping his options open with Giovinco another target of his.
Coming out of Italy, reports are suggesting that Arsenal have also spoken too Juventus, but so far, nothing concrete has come from either potential deal.
