Arsenal joins the race with Barcelona for Hirving Lozano

Arsenal have joined the race along with Barca to sign Mexico’s star Hirving Lozano

According to reports from TransferMarketWeb, the Gunners are trying hard to sign the Mexican star Hirving Lozano.

The winger who was recently representing Mexico in the ongoing World cup has caught eye of many European clubs. However the Mexico team failed to progres in the Quarter-finals when they were defeated by the 5-times World cup winners, Brazil.

The player is currently a part of the Dutch Club, PSV. Before PSV, the player used to play in the Mexican League for a club named Pachuka for 4-years from 2014 to 2017. He represented the club for more than 140 matches and was on the scoring sheet on 43 occasions, before heading to the dutch side PSV.

He was caught eyes of most of the european club when he started in the 3-0 defeat of the German side. Since then he was linked to the Spanish giants like Barcelona and Real Madrid, and now English side Arsenal has also joined the race for the 22 year old winger.

Arsenal boss Emery has already stared to aim the Premier League Trophy this year and for that he has strengthened the defence with players like  Bernd Leno, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos.

To strengthened the attacking of the Gunners he is taking all necessary steps required.

Lozano has admitted of a possible move to a new club this summer. He claimed to have a possible move to Spanish giants like Barcelona and Real Madrid.

In an interview, he said,”The truth is I’m very happy that the names of very important teams are being linked with me. When I am asked which I prefer I have to say both.I have to make sure I stay calm, take things slowly and concentrate on having a good World Cup. I’m really enjoying it.”

Report have claimed that Arsenal has already in contact with the player about a move to the Emirates Stadium.

His father has admitted that Lozano will be quitting PSV after the World Cup.
