Arsenal are reportedly scouting AS Roma centre-back, Kostas Manolas, with a view to a summer transfer, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Greek international has excelled in Serie A, form which has alerted interest from the Premier League, with Chelsea and Manchester United also weighing up potential bids for the highly-rated player.
But reports suggest that the 24-year-old has been viewed by Arsenal as a suitable long-term option to bolster up their defensive options.
Italian media suggested that Manchester United had sent representatives to Rome in an attempt to iron out a deal for Manolas.
Speaking upon speculation linking him with England, Manolas Sky Italia: “Manchester United? I know nothing, my agent tells me nothing.
“I have to be focused on Roma, I still have three years on my contract. After the end of the season we will look at things together with Roma.”
