Martin Montoya and Sergi Roberto look set for a move to England but maybe stuck in Spain untill 2016.

Both players have failed to impress Barcelona coach Luis Enrique featuring just six times this season and now it looks like a move to England could be next.

Liverpool look favourite to land the 23 year old right-back Montoya after rumours Glen Johnson will leave Anfield at the end of the season.

Sergio Roberto who has been affectionately nicknamed the “new xavi” has been struggling for game time at the Nou Camp, and it is rumoured that Arsenal and Manchester United are chasing the 22 year olds signature.

However, Arsenal, Liverpool and Man Utd have reportedly been told by Josep Maria Orobitg, the agent of both players that they will have to wait untill January 2016 if they want to sign these players.

Josep Maria Orobitg said: “FC Barcelona will not let any players leave until the end of their transfer ban, because they cannot sign anyone.”

Barcelona are currently serving a transfer ban and they will not let any players leave until they are able to buy replacements.
