Arsenal look to Italy to strengthen their attack

Arsenal are looking to strengthen their attacking options with the signing of Fernando Llorente from Juventus.

Llorente moved for nothing from Athletic Bilbao but has failed to recapture the form that made him one of Europe’s most coveted strikers before his ill-fated move to Turin.

Arsene Wenger sees Llorente as the right man to bolster his attacking force which has been accused of being overly-reliant on Alexis Sanchez this season. The former-Bilbao striker’s situation at Juventus could see him leave the club at end of the season.

With the arrival of promising forward Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid and his poor form this season – scoring only 4 goals in 19 appearances – Llorente has been linked with a move to north London, with Arsenal set to fork out £63,000-a-week on the Spaniard’s wages.
