Arsenal are interested in Olympiakos defender Kostas Manolas and could seek him as a replacement for outgoing Vermaelen. However with the loss of the Belgian defender Arsenal are left with only 2 senior centre backs and Wenger has identified Manolas as his potential third.
The Greek centre back has had an impressive season with Olympiakos and had a solid world cup performance. He is valued at £8 million but they may have to pay more to warn away interest from Juventus.
