Arsenal ‘make approach’ for Juventus forward

Arsenal are considering a late move for Juventus striker, Sebastian Giovinco, as Arsene Wenger’s hunt for a striker continues.

The Gunners boss is now in a position where he needs to sign a striker after Olivier Giroud suffered a broken bone in his leg, leaving him out until the new year.

Yaya Sanogo started up front against Leicester City and was ineffective during the 1-1 draw, so it’s believed Wenger will be on the look out for a new striker to add to his squad.

Radamel Falcao has been strongly linked, but according to reports, Wenger may make a swift move for Giovinco.

According to reports in Italy, Arsenal have made a season-long loan offer, but face competition from Torino, who have just lost Alessio Cerci to Atletico Madrid.

Juventus are yet to talk to either club, but they could be interested if they can get a sizeable loan-fee.
