Borussia Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc has revealed that over the summer the club received several enquires for Marcio Reus and that a move to England could happen. The German star has repeatedly been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga, with the player reportedly having a release-clause of just £20m.
Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Arsenal and Man United have all been linked with moves, only for nothing to end up materialising. Munich were believed to be the front-runners for his signature but Michael Zorc has claimed that a move abroad – to England – is a very real possibility for Reus. He said:
“Well, there are also beyond this country’s [Germany] borders other clubs for which Marco is interesting.”
Does that mean the winger’s next destination could be the Premier League? Only time will tell.
