Arsenal may have just lost out on a potential deal for Angel Di Maria. Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti recently told the Spanish press that he will not be leaving Madrid this summer. Ancelotti stated: “I have no doubt that he’ll stay, “I think that Di Maria knows very well that everyone loves him. The coach, the club and the fans love him. I don’t think he has any doubt about that.”
Arsenal have been very keen on landing a deal for the Argentine, however a potential deal looks very unlikely.
Di Maria brought Real Madrid’s campaign to a terrific end after setting up Gareth Bale’s winning goal in the Champions League Final against Atletico Madrid. Manchester United and Manchester City are also interested in the 26-year-old, and are apparently looking to plot a £40 million bid for the player.
