Paris Saint-Germain outcast has been offered to Gunners

Arsenal have been offered Paris Saint-Germain striker Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to reports.

The Argentinian is considered an outcast at the Ligue 1 champions and has been on the way out of the club for the past few seasons, but no move has formalised.

Over the past few seasons, Lavezzi has been offered to Manchester United and Liverpool, but according to fresh reports this morning, Arsenal are the team who PSG have contacted.

Arsenal’s Striker Hunt

Arsene Wenger is on the hunt for a new striker, with Karim Benzema and Edinson Cavani both linked with mega-money moves to the Emirates Stadium, but Lavezzi could be the cheaper option.

It’s believed the winger could be available at around ÂŁ8million.

If Lavezzi does complete a transfer away, it’s believed he will want a similar contract to what he’s on now, which stands at around ÂŁ95k-a-week.

The 30-year-old has just 12-months remaining on his contract, so could leave on a free this time next season.
