Arsenal are interested in taking Barcelona’s Munir El Haddadi on a short-term loan deal in January. The forward started a few games for Barca at the beginning of the season but with the return of Luis Suarez, he is now having to bide his time on the bench.

The Catalan giants believe that the 19-year old has a massive future at the Nou Camp and, to get him some first-team experience, they are willing to send him out on loan in the winter transfer window.

It’s Arsenal who are leading the queue for the youngster, with boss Arsene Wenger keen to strengthen his forward options at the Emirates with the short-term signing of El Haddadi. The Gunners boss even asked about signing the striker on a permanent basis but, as previously mentioned, club officials believe he has a big future and they will not sell at any cost.

Wenger will instead focus on signing him on loan in January and keeping him until the end of the season.
