Arsenal are to make a fresh bid for Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic in the summer, with reports in Spain suggesting that the Croat is on the Gunners’ radar.
The 28-year-old has netted 20 goals in 32 games for Atletico, since signing from German Bundesliga title-holders, Bayern Munich for around £16 million last summer.
Despite his goal-scoring form, reports in Spain suggest he is currently unhappy at the La Liga title-holders, following a bust-up with Atletico’s manager, Diego Simeone.
Arsene Wenger is said to be an admirer of the the forward, having tried to sign him last summer, with the North-Londoners’ set to go all out to land the Croatia international in the summer.
