Arsenal want to bid for Thomas Cleverley
Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a bid for Manchester United flop Thomas Cleverley.
The England international is currently on a season-long loan at Aston Villa and after being told he has no future at Old Trafford, he is expected to leave the club permanently over the Summer.
With his contract expiring at United, Cleverley will not be returning to his boyhood club and he will become a free agent as of July, which is when his deal ends.
The 25-year-old is heavily sought after however despite his less-than-impressive time at United.
According to reports, Tim Sherwood wants to sign him permanently for Villa, but he will face competition from Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur.
The midfielder has also received offers from around Europe, so he will have plenty of options come the end of the season.
