Arsenal are preparing a last-minute bid for Wolfsburg midfielder Luis Gustavo, despite him revealing his plans are to stay in Germany.
The Brazilian international has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League, with both Arsenal and Chelsea interested, but earlier in the Summer, he revealed that he wants to stay in Germany.

According to reports, Arsenal sent scouts to watch Wolfsburg opening Bundesliga game against champions, Bayern Munich.
