Arsenal are reportedly willing to spend big yet again on a Real Madrid star as they prepare to make a £32million bid for midfielder Angel Di Maria.
The Gunners splashed out £43million last Summer on German ace Mesut Ozil, and it looks like Arsene Wenger is ready to go back to Spain and bid for their Argentine winger.
Di Maria, who has falled down the pecking order due to Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, has been a target of Wenger’s before, but manager Carlo Ancelotti was not interested in selling him last Summer, but a bid in excess of £30m could change the Italian’s mind.
According to reports in Spain, Arsenal are preparing to offer the La Liga giants £32m for the winger, and are keen to wrap the deal up quickly and even before the World Cup if possible.
It’s believed French side AS Monaco are also interested in the 26-year-old.
