Gunners have already identified their replacement

Arsenal can miss out Champions League spot for the second consecutive year unless they win the Europa League to qualify for it. They have struggled this season and currently sixth at the Premier League. It is expected they will be busy this summer with both incoming and outgoing of players.

Arsene Wenger is ready to kick-start the Arsenal revolution by bombing out the under-performing duo of Shkodran Mustafi and Granit Xhaka. Neither defensive midfielder Xhaka or centre-back Mustafi have impressed during their time in north London, with the Frenchman keen to move them on, report the Evening Standard.

Both of them arrived in the summer of 2016 which was supposed to change everything for Arsenal. Mustafi started off brilliantly for the club but subsequent regression has been alarming and is now considered the weak link in the defense. Xhaka can be the best on his day but too often he has failed to track runners or react to threats

The two players they want to replace them are young English pair of James Maddison from Norwich and Fulham defender Ryan Fredericks.

Maddison has been impressive for Norwich this season, scoring 14 goals for the club. He is valued at ÂŁ30 million.

Fredericks has been a revelation this season for Fulham with many impressive performances. He started hi career with Tottenham.
