Arsenal are set to renew their interest in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Yohan Cabaye over the Summer.
The Frenchman has been on Arsene Wenger’s radar for sometime now, which even led to a formal offer being made when the centre-midfielder was at Newcastle United, but the offer was snubbed and he eventually returned to his homeland.
Since moving to France however, Cabaye has struggled to cement a first-team spot under Laurent Blanc and he is now ready to quit the club and could seek a move back to England.
According to reports, Arsenal will offer around ÂŁ10million for the midfielder and are also prepared to offer him a contract worth ÂŁ55k-a-week.
PSG paid ÂŁ15.5m for the Frenchman when they signed him from Newcastle, but Arsenal believe his value would have gone down since the move due to lack of first-team football.
