Arsene Wenger long-term admirer of play-maker
The Gunners are ready to make a £30 million for Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler after renewing their interest in the German international.
Arsenal have been chasing the German for a few years now, with Arsene Wenger a big admirer of the 21-year-old, but recent interest has never turned into formal offers due to difference of opinions in value.
Previous Interest
It was reported in January that The Gunners wanted to sign the midfielder, but were not prepared to meet Schalke‘s asking-price, believed to be over £30m.
At the time, Arsenal were only prepared to part ways with around £23m, but according to reports, they will renew their interest at the end of the season.
Attacking Options
Despite already having a wealth of riches in the attacking-midfield department, Wenger is ready to sign Draxler and is hopeful he can secure a deal early in the transfer window.
Wenger already has the likes of; Mesut Ozil, Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky as attack-minded midfielder, but with the latter two getting on now, the Arsenal boss is searching for the future.
Rumours say that Wenger is ready to launch a massive bid for the midfielder this summer, who is said to be a big star for the future.
