Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has hailed Liverpool striker Luis Suarez as a magnificent player, after the Uruguayan was voted the PFA Player of the Year.

The Reds forward has scored a whopping 30-goals so far this season and has helped guide Brendan Rodgers’ side to top of the table with just two games remaining, and after beating the likes of Eden Hazard, Yaya Toure, Steven Gerrard and Daniel Sturridge to the Player of the Year award, he received high praise from another star in this season’s Premier League campaign.

Ramsey, who was nominated for PFA Young Player of the Year for his phenomenal start to the season, was quick to praise the Liverpool ace and picked out the fact that he missed the first few games of the season due to a long-serving ban for biting Branislav Ivanovic last year.

“His quality is there for everybody to see,” Ramsey told Sky Sports News. “He’s just a magnificent player.

“When you think he missed the first five or so games of the season and to score the amount of goals that he has. He’s one of those strikers who loves to work hard as well and work for the team.”

Ramsey will surely feel aggrieved to have missed out on PFA’s Team of the Year and Young Player of the Year due to suffering a serious injury which kept him out of action for over three months.
