Arsene Wenger will not give up hope of signing Sergio Ramos. The defender is currently in talks over a new deal at Madrid but he was unimpressed with the Galacticos first offer.
The Gunners have made it known that he would be more than welcome at the Emirates stadium and even though the Spaniard is confident a new deal will be agreed at the Bernabeu, Arsenal will still try and lure the defender to the club.
Chelsea and Man City are also believed to be interested but not as much as Arsene Wenger, who has even been in contact with the player’s agent according to Spanish journalist Manuel Esteban Manolete who said: “Wenger has called Rene Ramos, the agent and brother of Sergio Ramos.”
Although it is reported that Arsenal were told he will be staying at the Bernabeu, they still remain optimisitic that a deal can be done to bring Ramos to the Emirates stadium.
