After breaking through the ranks at Barnsley and signing for Everton, John Stones continues impress with Arsenal the latest team to declare interest. The Everton defender was subject to a lot of speculation in the last transfer window with Chelsea having several bids turned down. Stones has become a regular in the Everton team as well as picking up some England caps along the way.
Arsenal have suffered in the last couple of seasons with poor defending, which has cost them several title challenges. Stones would be the perfect candidate to strengthen Arsenal’s defence and would fit the clubs ethos of buying for the future. It’s thought the bid will be well in excess of £30m as Arsene goes all out to sign Stones.
